Rabz is hip hop artist from Long Island that is letting fans inside his mind with music based in experience. Typically, you’ll find his lyrics over punchy 808s and ear-pleasing guitar or piano melodies, but don’t be surprised if you hear a stripped-down acoustic version. Currently independent, Rabz is looking to develop and mature as an artist before he signs. He stated, “I plan to be working WITH a label, not FOR one.” He is learning to produce his own music and currently works with producers such as Hennytrack and OVRCZ. However, he also enjoys working with small local producers who he can build with from the ground up.
Recently, he released a song and video called “Paranoid” that he revealed “is about trying to find ‘your way back home’ or your center, but you’re always getting distracted by temptations or things you didn’t plan on. In the video, I pass out and wake up on the beach. I try to find my way home, but instead I get distracted by drinking, partying, and girls.” Rabz also uncovered that, “My next planned single is called “Don’t Leave Me”, and it will be released before the end of the year. The song is an alternative styled track about knowing the person you’re with is ‘the one’, but they have other plans. I share what it’s like to step inside my mind and experience what it feels like to deal with my insecurities when it comes to relationships.”
