Humanitarian Benjamin Geller Steps up to Serve His Communities on a Larger Platform

With various crises building up daily, people can easily be divided, especially when the masses lack a leader who can understand and sympathize with the situation. Individuals often step up to assume leadership with false promises, worsening the situation instead. Benjamin Geller is one of those leaders whose humanitarian goals have inspired people to rally behind him in New York & all around the country.

A Hyde Park resident, Benjamin Geller is a versatile figure whose multiple endeavors all align with the single goal of helping his community. Ben attended the Culinary Institute of America and Marist College, he currently works on the front line, serving as an EMT for an advanced life support agency. Geller’s passion for helping people in the medical industry started as far back as 2013 when he joined the fire department. Ben joined the Global Health Outreach as a clinical assistant. There he was based in West Africa, serving a clinical role with a medical team to provide care for the unreached.

Since then, Geller has spent time traveling the globe with medical teams to continue providing care in areas where there is scarcely any access to even the most essential medications. When he is not busy serving others in the medical field, Geller can be found running his bakery, a small business called Benji’s Bakery.

As the global pandemic continues to loom over New York, Benjamin Geller has received an incredible amount of support to run for the Dutchess County Legislature in New York in the 4th district. Motivated by the masses, Geller set out to continue his humanitarian work on a grander stage.

“I know what the needs are of the people I seek to represent in New York,” shared the philanthropist. “New Yorkers work hard. They are passionate. They are tough. They deserve to have their taxes lowered, have elected officials who have their best interests at heart and officials who have a vision of the future.”

Geller built his campaign slogan as “The People’s Voice” and strives to continue his service in another modality with communities behind him. While most people run with an ulterior motive, the running candidate has the trust and backing of the community to step up. Geller believes that the time is ripe for transparent, approachable, and accessible communication between the public and elected officials. With the country divided and people suffering, he is determined to rally people together.

“I want to start a revolution of waking up America and starting the conversation that brings healing to our nation,” Geller shared.

Benjamin Geller’s strongest forte is his desire to serve. “I am not a politician by trade,” shared the candidate, “I am a public servant. I am doing my best to make my community a little better one day at a time.” Devoted to serving the public, Geller hopes to get the opportunity to run for congress in a few years. “No matter what I will be doing, it will be serving the people of New York with great honor.”
