Anaheim is an exciting place to visit in Southern California for various reasons. The following are some things you’ll want to do if you’re planning a visit to the heart of Orange County.

Disneyland

If you are coming to Anaheim, then you should probably visit Disneyland. There is no place like it on earth. It’s one of the most important theme parks in the world, and it offers a one-a-kind experience. You should probably book your visit beforehand and plan to stay in the theme park for at least a few hours to get the full experience. Dress cool because it can get hot in Southern California. 

Angel Stadium

Try to come to Anaheim during the baseball season, from late March to late September, so that you can see the Anaheim Angels play a game. The people there are ready to mingle, ready to be friends, and ready to welcome you with open arms. This is something you’ll find at The Juke Joint with a bit of flair. Be sure to make time for it.

Anaheim GardenWalk

Of course, there are many shops you can visit which you probably expect. The thing you might not expect is how lively this mall is. You can find a bowling alley there where folks can challenge each other or play a peaceful solo game. You can find several nightclubs if you want to dance, and you can even find the House of Blues, which is an iconic concert hall. Check out who’s playing there and get your ticket. 

Oak Canyon Nature Center

If you are a nature lover, you’ll want to visit the Oak Canyon Nature Center, a 58-acre natural park in Anaheim Hills dedicated to environmental awareness, wildlife protection, and recycling programs to limit waste. Sure, there are many landscaped parks in Anaheim, like the Yorba Regional Park, but if you want a more natural experience, you’ll want to explore the Oak Canyon Nature Center, where there are miles of trails you can fall in love with. 

Muzeo and Cultural Center

Southern California is heavy on culture, and one place to see this is at a museum called the Muzeo and Cultural Center. Admission is free for this museum, and what you experience is quite unique and can change with each visit. The art pieces are in rotation, so make sure you find out what exhibits will be shown at the museum during your visit. Usually, you’ll find pieces from local artists that represent various backgrounds, which makes it so special.

Medieval Times

Want to go to a restaurant that offers a show? Then don’t skip Medieval Times! Yes, you will be served by folks wearing historically themed costumes. You get a show with action and suspense. You get a fun menu with food items that sound dated, and you might even get to participate in the show if you’re brave enough.
