Marcus Swain, better known by his stage name Solstice, has been active in music since the day he was born. When he was growing up, his parents would constantly play R&B, Gospel, and Soul music in the background, and though he enjoyed it, he wished he could hear more. His brother introduced him to bands like Linkin Park and Evanescence at the time and Solstice established an enthusiasm for the art of music as a result of his early exposure to various genres.
Solstice continued to pursue music as a hobby, joining a few bands in both middle and high school, but was never entirely engaged due to his love of soccer. This all changed when he started college and had more free time to practice and participate in music. He continued to develop as an artist gradually and had an epiphany when watching live performances, discovering that he should do it himself, and the rest is history.
Solstice has made huge strides in the music industry by creating and evolving his distinct sound over the years. With no signs of slowing down anytime soon, things could get very interesting for Solstice in the coming months.
