Larry King, The Famous Talk Show Host, Dies At 87

Larry King is one of the famous names of television. He was known for his show “Larry King Live”, in his more than 6000 episodes he interviewed celebrities, athletes, politicians, and even designers. On Saturday, his son Chance confirmed Larry’s passing on his social media page. The Famous Talk show host has indeed passed away at 87.

Larry King passed away in Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles, according to the statement issued by his son. He had been in the industry for almost 63 years. From radio, television, and digital media, he was a legendary broadcaster.

He saw it all, from radio to TV to even the Internet, he was a sensational host. Larry retired from his show Larry King Live in 2010. He was known for his proficiency as a broadcaster and host.

Larry was struggling with a lot of health issues. In 1987, he underwent quintuple bypass surgery, inspiring him to establish the Larry King Cardiac Foundation. He also suffered from heart attacks. Recently, he was admitted to Cedars-Sinai because he was diagnosed with COVID-19.

Because of his health complications, he was more susceptible to the disease. Other than being physically assaulted by illnesses, Larry suffered a huge loss last year. He lost two of his children, Andy King, 65, who suffered a heart attack, and daughter Chaia King, 52, died after being diagnosed with lung cancer.

Now, he is survived by three sons. But that is not his only legacy. In an era of popular news people, Larry King was a giant. He interviewed everyone from Ford to Obama. It was an honor to be part of the Larry King Live show. His death has left a hole in the industry, he was the best broadcaster journalist of our age.
