Santana Rodriguez Conquers Television with New Fitness Show

TV personality, host, model, and fitness guru Santana Rodriguez is taking over television with her new fitness TV show Shaping Up with Santana. The well-loved fitness enthusiast has produced her own show to bring a fun, simple, and effective exercise routine that viewers can follow and execute in the comforts of their home.

As the pandemic is forcing fitness gyms to either temporarily or permanently cease their operations, Santana Rodriguez is taking advantage of the opportunity to introduce something new on television. The current program that airs 24/7 on Roku and Amazon FIRE TV, motivates people to stay fit and healthy by offering easy to follow dance exercise routines and nutritional tips at the same time. At a time when everyone should be working on boosting their immune system to combat COVID-19, more and more people are drawn to Santana’s unique and engaging show.

Santana Rodriguez is inspired to offer helpful content to viewers after seeing her parents’ struggle with their physical health over the years. She fully understands the downside of having someone in the family get sick repeatedly. With the pandemic forcing people to become more mindful of their health, she wants to make a relevant contribution by helping them maintain a balanced lifestyle as a certified fitness trainer.

“I have always loved keeping in shape plus I had parents that were sick and fought through serious illnesses. I wanted to create something special to give back not only to my parents but to the community,” Santana shares.

Aside from being deeply passionate about fitness, Santana Rodriguez is also an accomplished print model and TV host. She has been privileged to have been published in over 30 magazines with seven covers and is currently on a special edition Hero’s of change cover for Amare’ Magazine’s October 2020 issue. She shares the cover with celebrities like Oscar de la Hoya, Tyson Beckford, Jillian Barberie, and Garcelle Beauvais just to name a few. She is also popularly known as the Fitness Champion of ABA Federation show’s Miss Team USA Model Quest.

She is also very passionate about speaking in youth and wellness events in Los Angeles. She believes that it is important to invest in the lives of young people in this generation to help them become better and responsible adults in the future. She is an active mentor to a nine-year-old in the Big Brothers Big Sister Organization, and she has been happily doing this for the past three years. Last 2019, she actively participated in the organization’s annual fashion show.

Santana Rodriguez holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Marketing and an Associate Degree in Fashion Merchandising. The half Puerto Rican and half Brazilian fashionista has been voted Top Five Best Dressed People at the 2019 Mercedes Benz Oscar Viewing party by a popular Twitter fashion blogger.

When Santana Rodriguez is not busy with her advocacies, fitness program, and acting projects, she gets invited to speak in big events such as the 2018 Caribbean Tourism Conference held in Atlantis, Bahamas. She was also a speaker at a sustainability conference in St. Eustatius, Caribbean. During the 2018 International Women’s Day Conference, she was invited to be a guest to teach in a fitness segment.

At present, Santana Rodriguez is focused on building Shaping Up with Santana as a profitable brand and intends to one day continue producing by adding more programming. Apart from her fitness initiatives, she also looks forward to traveling the world and helping the youth in communities. Her present success in the fitness industry is something that she hopes will inspire people to never give up on their dreams.
