Rapper Jalen McMillan Surpasses 100 Million Streams, Sets World Record

Los Angeles, CA, USA, June 5th, 2020 – Social media star Jalen McMillan’s song “No Cap” has surpassed 100 million streams on his Soundcloud, making it the fastest song for an independent artist to reach this milestone.

The song, released in December 2019, took exactly 159 days to reach this milestone, calculating to approximately 630k streams daily. Originally released with his “Greatest Hits” set, the song was also included in his mixtape “Welcome to the Inferno” shortly after.

When asked about the reaching the successful landmark, Jalen indicates, “I’m thankful for the amazing fans that love the record, however, I don’t have time to celebrate, I’m taking singing lessons to expand my sound & working very hard on a new album “STUNNA”, which is slated to release later this year”. “I’m also taking time to stand with the black community & mourn the passing of George Floyd, my merch earnings for June will be donated”.

Despite the unfortunate terror currently in the world, McMillan is in the midst of very successful 2020 campaign, which has seen his follower & streaming growth across his socials skyrocket.
