Sacramento, California rap artist Prime Minister has done it again on his Head Huncho EP. He delivered another much needed solid piece of art. The game has been missing that Northern California mob style. The streets and neighborhoods in California need to hear straight laced game from solid OG’s that are still relevant in today’s time. With the new year kicking off and still being in the middle of a pandemic you really have to move nice out here and have a real understanding of what you’re doing in the game. There is no room for mistakes and excuses on this level. Its big dawg season and once again Prime Minister’s West Coast sound and gritty lyrics stands the test of time by satisfying the old heads who have been listening to rap music since the 90’s as well as still being able to resonate with the younger and newer generations of hip hop heads that just got hooked on dope rap music.
This is where Prime Minister comes in with his game spitting semi-conscious raps. The wisdom of his experiences are all over this project and when asked about dropping jewels or giving knowledge when he spits Prime replied, “Thats one of the reasons I still rap nowadays…to give back. Ya know, to inspire and motivate people. I know that there is somebody listening to my music right now and using me as an example of how it can be done or what it looks like to be a real OG still in the game going hard.”
Going hard is definitely the protocol for Prime and his Fireball Entertainment brand/record label. He seems to have his hands in a little bit of everything from directing and filming movies and TV shows to concert promoting and merchandising. The game is wide open for Prime and he’s definitely taking advantage of it by dropping back to back projects and still writing movie scrips for feature films. Yeah, I would definitely say that there is a lot in store for the viewers and listeners who are tapped in with Prime and his Mobb sound.
