Besting Seller author Gry Finsnes on the release of her new novel ‘Into The Closets’

Gry Finsnes has recently released her much-anticipated new novel ‘Into The Closets,’ a tale of fiction that is sure to entertain fans of the British Royal Family. We caught up with the author to ask her a number of questions about her new book.

If you were to pick one word that best describes Into The Closets what would it be and why?

Royal palaces.

Downtime is necessary for many writers and artists to get their creative juices flowing. What do you do when it’s time for you to relax and unwind?

Physical activities are important when you sit still all day. I go for walks, play golf and tennis and practice yoga. I also listen to all kinds of music.

How old were you when you decided that you wanted to be a writer, and why?

Since I learnt to write I have written short stories or novels in my free time. It was not so much a decision as a need to write, to express myself without being interrupted. Creative writing is very satisfying when you feel you have managed to put your ideas on paper and made it look reasonably good.

How long did it take for you to write this book and what was the main challenge you faced while writing it?

The novel Into the Closets took around two years to write. I did not need as much time to do research with his book since I had experienced the environment myself. The challenge was not to reveal too much, so as not to embarrass the royal family or the Queen, but still make it interesting.

Let’s change it up a bit. If you could have any superpower, what would it be and why?

Oh, I would like to be able to fly without actually growing wings! Move from one place to another quickly would be wonderful and give me the chance to take parts in many more exciting events.
