Becoming an entrepreneur can be a daunting task, but can garner great rewards. With many industries already flooded with small companies, it’s tough to break through to find success. Despite the difficulty, Shane Skaar has taken the plunge with his company Streignth Sportswear.
Based currently out of La Crosse, Wisconsin, Shane and his company have grown to become widely known locally, with sales starting to trickle in from across the nation. Streignth provides fitness and lifestyle apparel with a side of empowerment, with the goal of motivating the streignth community both physically and mentally. Shane tells us that the main message of the company is, “It’s not what happens to you that defines you, but how you respond to it.”
The stylish sportswear has been growing in popularity in recent months, with sales coming in from all 50 states. Although the majority of the brand’s clientele comes from the midwest, the company is seeing more and more exposure to other regions of the United States. In the future, Shane hopes his business will reach international levels. With the growth in the business he has seen so far, that goal seems likely.
