Meet Pranshu Sikka: Seeker of Challenges, a Passionate Serial Entrepreneur, and an Active Social Commentator




The work of an entrepreneur has always been challenging, but that of a serial entrepreneur is even more so. Pranshu Sikka belongs to this second group of entrepreneurs, the ones who don’t stop at just one idea, and like to keep taking on challenges repeatedly, in a bid to better the world.

Pranshu always had the knack of taking up multiple challenges in life – whether it was his tryst with cricket, his pursuit of being a top journalist with leading media houses in the country, or his journey towards becoming one of the most sought-after PR professionals in the country. But these challenges were never enough for him he wanted to scale bigger walls and tread diverse paths.
What changed his course of life was when he accidentally stumbled into the world of entrepreneurship with The Pivotals, India’s first multi stakeholder engagement firm. His passion for revolutionizing the communications landscape and taking up diverse challenges helped him foster innumerable brands to grow into successful ventures. Thanks to his passion, experience and a thorough understanding of the landscape, today he is at par with some of the biggest names in the communications industry.

But this first-generation entrepreneur didn’t want to stop at just one entrepreneurial challenge. As an avid foodie, he is also the founder of food delivery chain ‘Be Bhukkad’. The brand has many innovative Indian culinary delights and thousands of satisfied customers to its credit.

As a successful entrepreneur, Pranshu truly believes in giving back to the society. “As entrepreneurs, the responsibility towards the society does not merely stop at generating employment. The end goal is to serve and protect the interests of other members of the society who have helped you grow. Giving back to the community through your brand of entrepreneurship is what truly makes a leader,” he states.

Which is why, after the abrogation of Article 370, he focused on finding ways to aid economic growth in Jammu and Kashmir and Ladakh regions. Hence, he co-founded Kashmironomics, a think tank to help chart an economic roadmap for the development of the newly formed Union Territories, and uplift the region’s populace.

Pranshu is a strong supporter of many issues that plague us today, and has been actively involved in causes related to women and child empowerment. As a social activist and commentator, he has also been outspoken about issues of economic and political significance.
